The Bluegrass Regional Transfer Station is a Public-Private Partnership between the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government and Waste Services of the Bluegrass, Inc.

  • Car tires
  • Truck tires
  • Tractor tires
  • Appliances with or without refrigerants
  • Automobile gas tanks
  • Truck gas tanks
  • 1 lb. LP tanks
  • 20 lb. Propane tanks (from gas grills only)
  • Bagged trash

We do not accept:

  • Asbestos
  • Batteries
  • Contaminated soil
  • Hazardous waste
  • Anything containing mercury or Freon
  • Liquids – paint, insecticides, pesticides, etc.
