On Jan. 1, 2016, Central Kentucky Hauling began residential trash collection in Nicholasville and Jessamine County. Central Kentucky Hauling replaced Rumpke as the trash collection contractor, but the accounts of Rumpke customers have been transferred to Central Kentucky Hauling.
